Our very own Laurence Green has been trawling the streets of London for Open House 2013 to get some inspiration.
It may be surprising to some but there are fashions and trends with reclaimed and antique items. What was last years must have could just as easily be this year’s rubbish, and in a few years we’ll be saying why did anyone ever get rid of that stuff?! We always try and hold onto as much as we can, just in case, but in the mean time events such as Open House are a great way to get some fresh ideas and at the same time see some fantastic spaces. After all, it is always fun to have a nosy!
This time the team made it to the Bunhill Energy Centre, St.Luke’s at Islington which is a modernised church now mainly used by the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra), a fantastic space! And Laurence even sat at Lenin’s desk in his office in Clerkenwell.
