Original Mid Century Bulkhead Light

This is a vintage industrial bulkhead light manufactured by J & G Coughtrie Ltd in Glasgow. This classic “SP” style fitting was originally designed in the 1950s for heavy-duty industrial, rail tunnel, and marine applications due to its robust, weatherproof construction. Traditionally made from die-cast aluminum with a grey finish, and features a thick, ribbed, prismatic glass diffuser designed to distribute light evenly.
