1970s Danish Lange & Co Wood Stove

This is an original Danish, Lange 6303A model wood-burning stove, made of cast iron with an enamel surface. Often referred to as a ‘Skovovn’ (forest-oven). Manufactured by L. Lange & Co. in Svendborg, Denmark, this stove likely dates around the 1970s.

The stove has a two-tier airtight cast iron construction. It stands on four curved legs and features an ornate relief on the front depicting a deer-drawn carriage. The upper section contains a distinct arched niche designed as a heat exchanger or warming oven to radiate extra heat and keep items warm.
