Mid Century Leather and Chrome Barcelona Chair
£280.00+ VAT
The classic Barcelona Chair. Designed by Ludwig Mies van de Rohe and Lily Reich for the German pavilion at The International Exposition of 1929.
The angular structure is thought to have been inspired by the Roman folding chairs know as “curules”- upholstered stools by the aristocracy.
Tom Wolfe described the Barcelona Chair as being the ‘Platonic ideal of a chair” and a necessity for the home. Luckily for you, we have a reproduction version of this Holy Grail available for sale.
