Art Deco Chairs by Ebenezer Gomme

This is a beautiful Art Deco oak dining chair from the “New Cromwell” range designed by Ebenezer Gomme of High Wycombe, dating from the 1920s. The chair features a distinctive solid oak frame with floral carvings, re-upholstered with dark blue-grey velvet fabric, and brass studs on the backrest. Known for their historical significance, these chairs were part of some of the earliest designed dining room suites.
